Shared sensitive Army info with ISI; had links with Khalistani supporter in Pakistan
News Desk New Delhi, 03-May: Punjab Police has arrested a man named Gagandeep Singh, also known as Gagan, from Tarn Taran for allegedly spying for Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI during a special security operation called ‘Operation Sindoor.’
According to police, Gagandeep was leaking sensitive military information related to troop movements and Army activities, posing a serious threat to national security.

Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav shared that the arrest was made in a joint operation by Tarn Taran Police and Counter-Intelligence Punjab. The accused was in regular contact with Gopal Singh Chawla, a known Khalistani supporter based in Pakistan, who introduced him to ISI handlers.
Took Money, Sent Info via Mobile
Investigations revealed that Gagandeep took money from ISI and shared sensitive information using a mobile phone. He was reportedly in touch with over 20 ISI agents. Police have recovered digital evidence and filed a case under the Official Secrets Act at Tarn Taran police station.
The case is currently under further investigation.
