He graduated law and obtained his degree at Bangalore, from the University Law College. He stood first to the Bangalore University in the 5 years Law examinations. His father Justice Shri K.B.Navadgi was a Judge of the Karnataka High Court and served the Indian Judiciary for a period of 27 years.

Mr. Navadgi has dealt with number of issues relating to the Constitution of India, particularly in the formation of elective governments and the Local Self Governments. He has handled number of cases relating to International taxation, transnational taxation, double taxation avoidance agreements particularly with reference to European Union, Prevention of Money Laundering laws, cyber laws, Constitutional Law, International Arbitration Agreements etc. Mr. Navadgi has delivered lectures at several foreign universities including the University of Manchester, Warwick, Exeter and Newcastle. He has keen interest in the evolution of Constitutional Jurisprudence.

Mr. Navadgi was appointed as the Additional Advocate General for the State of Karnataka on 03.06.2011 to represent the State Government. He was designated as Senior Counsel by the Full Court of Karnataka in June 2014. He was appointed as the Additional Solicitor General of India for Karnataka High Court in April 2015.
