Law firm Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas establishes a legal presence in Singapore

A new overseas legal practise for the law firm Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) has opened in Singapore, it was announced on Friday. CAM Singapore will function as an authorised foreign law firm providing knowledge of Indian law, including international arbitration. Delivering legal services across a range of practise areas will be its main goal. Director Dipti Bedi and Managing Director & CEO Vivek Kathpalia will serve as its leaders. 

CAM Singapore would first concentrate on industries such cross-border insolvency, international arbitration, fintech, investment funds, corporate advisory, private equity, capital markets, banking, and finance. 

With more than 22 years of experience, 14 of those were spent in Singapore as a foreign lawyer with a licence. With a concentration on banking and finance, international arbitration, conflicts, and employment, Bedi has more than 13 years of experience. 

The launch of the Singapore office is a part of the company’s bigger strategic vision of Singapore as a vibrant hub for the Asia-Pacific as well as for the firm’s local and international clientele, according to Cyril Shroff, Managing Partner of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.
