1- Former MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar seeking interim bail in the rape case of a minor in Unnao in 2017
The Delhi High Court will hear on December 22 the plea of former MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar seeking interim bail in the rape case of a minor in Unnao in 2017.
Sengar has sought interim bail for two months to attend his daughter’s wedding (February 8). His lawyer told him that the wedding rituals will start on January 18.
Sengar’s appeal challenging the trial court’s verdict in the Unnao rape case is already pending in the High Court. Sengar has sought quashing of the trial court’s December 16, 2019 order convicting him.
Sengar has also sought quashing of the December 20, 2019 order, which sentenced him to imprisonment for the rest of his life.
2- Delhi Liquor Policy scam case
The Delhi High Court will hear on December 22 the petition challenging the bail granted by the CBI to Aam Party’s communication in-charge Vijay Nair and Abhishek Boinpally, who is jailed in the Delhi Liquor Policy scam case.
In the last hearing, the Delhi High Court had refused to stay the bail of both the accused.
In the last hearing, the CBI had said that Rs 30 crore cash came to Delhi from South India, which was given to influential people.
The investigation is at a very sensitive stage, the CBI has demanded a stay on the bail decision of the lower court from the Delhi High Court.
3- Sexual harassment of school-going children
The Delhi High Court will hear the matter of sexual harassment of school-going children on December 22.
In the last hearing, the court had said that the mental condition of the victims in the cases needs to be taken care of on priority, as such incidents can have long-term chilling effects.
The court said this while upholding the compulsory retirement sentence awarded by the trial court to a physics teacher who allegedly sexually assaulted a Class IX girl student.
The court had said that the mental state of a minor is very delicate and can be affected by anything for a long time and it is in a developing stage.

The Delhi High Court will hear the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation case on December 22.
The Delhi government refused to bail out the DMRC on the grounds that it did not have budgetary provisions to release the amount sought by the firm.
The DMRC told the top court in an affidavit on Wednesday, “This process is necessary for the purpose of discharging their respective liability to the equity shareholders, even though meetings have already been held in the above regard.
5- Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case
The Patiala House Court will hear on December 22 the application filed by Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case involving Sukesh Chandrasekhar.
Jacqueline has filed an application in the court seeking permission to travel to Bahrain from December 24 to January 5. Many people have been arrested in this case.
Many Bollywood actresses are also under the scanner for being in contact with Sukesh.
There is an allegation against Jacqueline that Sukesh Chandrasekhar has given her many expensive gifts.
6- Shraddha Walker murder case
The Saket court will hear on December 22 the bail plea filed by the vicious accused Aftab in the Shraddha Walker murder case.
Let us tell you that Aftab had killed his live-in partner Shraddha and then cut the dead body into 35 pieces.
After this, he started throwing the pieces of the dead body one by one at different places in the night.
The Delhi Police had recovered body parts in the forests of Mehrauli and Chhatarpur. It has become clear from the DNA report that the pieces of the dead body belong to Shraddha.
Shraddha’s killer Aftab is currently lodged in Tihar Jail.
Keeping in view the security arrangements, the police produced him in court through VC.
During this, Aftab said that the bail application is filed in court, and he does not know anything about it.
