Bollywood stars Noora Fatehi and Jacquline Fernandez are making headlines these days as they were summoned by the Enforcement Directorate for interrogation in conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s money laundering case. It should be known that Sukesh had gifted a car to Nora in December 2020. However, while rejecting his charge, Nora said that it was gifted by his wife during her participation in an event in Chennai.
Nora further rued over the thing that she was being made a victim in the entire case. Economic Offenses’ Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police had questioned actor Noora Fateh Ali Khan in connection with her relations with the con-man Sukesh Chandra Sekhar who is in New Delhi’s Tihar Jail these days in an extortion charge amounting to a whopping sum of Rs. 200 crores. On Wednesday, EOW had also grilled Bollywood Diva Jacquline Fernandez for eight hours in its office in this connection, however, both said that they have no connection with the case.
Special Commissioner of Police (EOW) said that Sukesh tried to influence the Bollywood actresses as he was possessed with a huge wealth which he had acquired through extortion. On this, Delhi police called three persons for questioning including Nora Fatehi, her brother-in-law Mehboob aka Bobby Khan, and Pinky Irani for questioning It should be noted that Irani is the person who approached Fatehi for gifts in the direction of Chandrashekhar. During the ED questioning, Fatehi said that she had refused to take that gift and rather told that they should give that gift to her brother-in-law Mehboob alias Bobby.
