Siddharth Abhay Dharmadhikari who is presently the Additional Advocate General Uttar Pradesh, has been appointed Maharashtra Government’s Chief Standing Counsel in the Supreme Court. A notification confirming his appointment was issued by Maharashtra’s Law and Judiciary department on September 2, 2022.
Dharmadhikari will now represent Maharashtra in the Supreme Court, the Delhi High Court, and other courts as well as tribunals of Delhi. He has also served for two years in the chambers of former Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi.
He moved to Delhi to practice in Supreme Court under the guidance of senior advocate Shekhar Naphade.
Dharmadhikari earlier served for two years in the chamber of former Attorney General, India Mukul Rohatgi.
