1-The Supreme Court will hear on November 16 the petition filed regarding the delimitation of Jammu and Kashmir. Responding to the notice of the Supreme Court, the Central Government and the Election Commission have said that the report of the Delimitation Commission for delimitation of assembly constituencies for assembly elections cannot be challenged anywhere. Haji Abdul Ghani Khan, a resident of Srinagar, challenged the increase in the number of assembly constituencies from 83 to 90 in the Supreme Court for the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. He has challenged the entire process of delimitation in the Supreme Court.

2- The Supreme Court will hear on November 16 the petition filed against the Bombay High Court’s decision on stray dogs. The Bombay High Court’s order has been challenged, in which it was directed that no one in Nagpur and its surrounding areas The citizen shall neither feed nor attempt to feed stray dogs in public places, gardens, etc.
The High Court had also directed on October 20 that if any person is interested in feeding stray dogs, he shall first adopt the dog, bring it to (his) home, register it with the municipal authorities, or Will keep the dog in the shelter home, ‘ then take personal care of it in all respects and feed it.

3-The Supreme Court will hear on November 16 in the case of recruitment of vacant posts in consumer forums to state governments. In the last hearing, the court warned the state governments that if the status report is not filed next time also, a fine of Rs 2 lakh will be imposed and it will be recovered from the concerned authorities. Fed up with the apathy and arbitrariness of the government, the Supreme Court made a strong comment. The court had said, “It is not a good situation that even the court has to interfere in the recruitment of vacant posts. If the government does not want to run important institutions like tribunals and the Consumer Grievance Redressal Commission as per the rules, then it should abolish them.” Then the government should abolish the Tribunals Act itself.

4-The Supreme Court will hear on November 16 the petition demanding Covid vaccination for the homeless and beggars across the country. This petition has been filed by Supreme Court lawyer Kush Kalra. There was a demand for vaccination and rehabilitation for the homeless, beggars, and vagrants who are unable to get medical care or vaccination and cannot follow social distancing or isolation if infected.

5-The Supreme Court will hear on November 16 the petition filed against the Delhi Police Commissioner. It is alleged in the petition that had the Delhi Police acted on time, the murder of the petitioner would not have happened. It may be mentioned that on June 16, 2022, a complaint was lodged before Delhi’s SHO, Sagarpur, alleging that the daughter of petitioner Shashi Saxena was abducted, but no FIR was registered despite it being a cognizable offense. Was.

6-The Supreme Court will hear the case of Unitech on 16th November. Recently, the Noida Development Authority filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court saying that Unitech Builder is the biggest defaulter of the Noida Development Authority. Unitech Builders owes Rs 9,678 crore to the authority. Between 2006 and 2011, Unitech builders were allotted 5 plots. The builder deposited only the minimum amount with the authority. After this, the builder has not deposited any installment with the authority.

7-The Supreme Court will hear on November 16 the petitions filed for getting the West Bengal coal scam case investigated by the CBI. A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court challenging the Calcutta High Court order filed by Anup Majhi, the main accused in the coal scam in West Bengal, and TMC leader Vinay Mishra. The Calcutta High Court had allowed the CBI to investigate the case related to the illegal coal mining case in West Bengal.

8- The Delhi High Court will hear on November 16 the petition filed against the order given by the Central Information Commission (CIC). In the last hearing, the Delhi High Court stayed the CIC’s direction asking an RTI applicant to provide certain information related to the PM Cares Fund.

9-The Supreme Court will hear on November 16 the petition challenging the appointment of former Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana. Explain that the appointment of Rakesh Asthana as Delhi Police Commissioner has been challenged by the NGO Center for Public Interest Litigation’.

10-The Delhi High Court will hear on November 16 a petition seeking directions to the Delhi government to appoint a Lokayukta in Delhi with immediate effect. This petition has been filed by BJP leader and lawyer Ashwini Upadhyay. The petition said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had promised in the elections of 2013, 2015, and 2020 that he would appoint a Lokayukta but so far the Lokayukta has not been appointed.

11- In a money laundering case, the Tihar Jail will pronounce its verdict on the bail pleas of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Satyendar Jain and Vaibhav Jain, and Ankush Jain on November 16. Jain urged the court to grant him bail, saying no purpose would be served by keeping him in custody now. The probe agency, opposing Jain’s bail plea, had alleged That a case of money laundering has been made out against him. The ED has also opposed the bail pleas filed by Ankush and Vaibhav, saying they may flee from justice or tamper with evidence if granted the relief.

12-The Rouse Avenue Court will pronounce its verdict on November 16 in the case of Dinesh Arora, an accused in the Delhi New Excise Policy scam case. Dinesh Arora has agreed to become an approver. CBI filed his application in Rouse Avenue Court. During the last hearing, accused Dinesh Arora had clearly said in the court that I am willing to become a government witness voluntarily. The court had asked Dinesh Arora whether there was any pressure or any threat from the CBI. On this, Dinesh Arora said that he is voluntarily becoming a government witness.
