Chief Justice Became Emotional in Course of his Speech during a felicitation ceremony

While taking a leaf from his initial Days’s experiences in the legal profession with Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court where his father was a lawyer, the newly appointed Chief Justice of India, Uday Umesh Lalit went down his memory lane and delivered an emotional speech at a felicitation ceremony given in his honor .
On this occassion, he also remembered those had helped him shape his legal career during his initial days as a lawyer at Nagpur
Remarkably, Chief Justice of India (CJI) speech given at Nagpur last week had created storm in the media circles when he supposedly said that he cannot make any promises about his past experiences as a lawyer. But, he will ensure that he does the job to the best of his ability. “I am not here to make any promises. Except one, that I will do everything, to the best of my ability, knowledge and belief,” the CJI had said then.
