There are different career options after completion of degree LLB, in the sector of government jobs such as follows:

Public Prosecutor:

The lawyer is chosen by the government to represent the state in criminal cases. Exams are administered by state public service commissions in order to designate such prosecutors. You will have the chance to receive a fixed monthly wage with this position.

Judicial Clerkship:

A judicial clerkship is, as the name implies, a temporary opportunity to work for a judge in a court. A judge must have direct assistance from a judicial clerk in his daily courtroom activities. One’s duties will include conducting research, writing, and assisting the judge to whom they are assigned with daily cases. Civil Judge:

Court Master

The master of a High Court is a procedural Judge, who first deals with all the aspects of the case starting from the issue till it gets ready for the trail by a Judge.

To qualify as a court master one should qualify Skill Test & Oral Interview. The Master of the court should be a LLB graduate and the salary of it is 54,220- 1,33,630/- Per Month

Legal research assistants :

Legal research assistants aid attorneys with case preparation by performing pertinent research. By preserving and arranging case files, they also assist lawyers in getting ready for hearings, trials, and business meetings. They need to be tech knowledgeable, well-organized, and able to collaborate in a group. Depending on the area of law they practise, specific tasks could include acquiring evidence, setting up meetings, creating legal documents, and writing reports. In smaller organisations, legal assistants could be given extra responsibilities. The pay scale of the Legal research assistant is 22,500 Per month. One should be a LLB graduate and  for this post offline application to be fill and interview.

Contract Basis

Law assistants are renowned for being a lawyer or attorney’s helping hand. They write the first draught of the paperwork, update files, conduct research, and manage legal records. The role of a law assistant is to increase a lawyer’s effectiveness by developing case material, evidence, and settlement options. A law assistant keeps track of matters in order to assist the attorney in court.

A law assistant must be proficient with computers in addition to file management since they must maintain digital databases, create and distribute affidavits, and consult law libraries. 

A final year law student with a law degree (this can be a five-year or a three-year LLB degree) from a university or college that has been approved by the Indian Bar Council or any law graduates can apply for this post of law assistant as per the vacancy. This is a contract based job for 6 months and can be extended upto 2 years. Remuneration paid to the legal assistant is around Rs. 30,000 to 40,000 p.m..
